Last evening’s Girls Night Out theme on The Veranda was Tea Party with Flowers in Honor of Spring! Color was key, and flowers were everywhere. Proper English Tea was out the window. We did it Nambah Style!

The Tea Table had seven different types of teas to sample.
We never got to this this tea, but it was there, in case.
Proper English tea.
Red tea in white cups looked great.
I finally got to use my Mom’s Chinese tea pot and lidded cups.
The tea pot is silver.
This tea pot had a surprise in store for us. There was a crack in the bottom and we had a flood on the table. Such excitement!

Thai spicy ground turkey in wonton crisps with creme fraise and cilantro. This was my signature creation for my culinary graduation banquet.

Vol au Vent with Salmon Mousse and Vegan caviar (made from seaweed!)
Blue cheese and pecan sandies.
Gorgonzola stuffed mushrooms with Balsamic drizzle.
Ham and asparagus roll ups.
Turkey and Arugula sandies. Brenda came and joined us for some nibbles.
Deconstructed BLTs. Campari tomatoes stuffed with Mayo, croutons and bacon.
Wild caught Argentinian red shrimp cocktail.
Deviled eggs with smoked paprika.
Brie and pecans in Medjool dates.
